The Ranger Tug 25SC offers everything a much larger vessel does in a smaller, easy to handle package. She is terrific for new boat owners or those just starting out. She has a 150Hp diesel engine & bow and stern thrusters for terrific maneuverability. She even has a remote control so the thrusters can be run from the cockpit. This was one of Ranger's most popular models for many years.
CODDIWOMPLE (it's a terrific boat name, look it up!) presents a unique opportunity to purchase a 2014 Ranger Tug with a brand new VOLVO Diesel.
In 2020 the gasket on the stern thruster failed and allowed for water intrusion into the engine bay. The owners insurance covered the installation of a brand new VOLVO with many other related parts. The transmission, wiring harnesses, inverter, batteries and many other parts were replaced as well as the thruster.
The rest of the boat shows very well and has had little use. The trailer is an EZ Loader aluminum double axle model. The boat comes with a full winter cover and the boat has been stored under cover.

The expanded self-bailing cockpit is ideal for fishing or outdoor relaxation; a transom door leads to the full swim platform, and there’s room atop the deckhouse for stowing anything from crab pots to kayaks. The new larger cockpit lends itself to more above and below deck storage and makes for easy access to the standard D3 150 HP Volvo diesel. The engine is located entirely outside of the cabin making for smooth, quiet cruising, delivering exceptional fuel economy, even at planing speeds.
Available options like the Webasto Diesel heater allow customizing the Ranger R–25SC for comfortable year-round cruising and effortless operation. Yacht sized features like standard bow and stern thrusters provide for excellent maneuverability around the dock and the 8’6” beam allows the boat to be easily trailered. There is an ALUMINUM double axle trailer included and full boat cover.
